The educational curriculum has a strategic position in the learning process.

education reform only improves, renews and develops the curriculum, and we consider that a fundamental process that stems from the civilized values of society, and in response to the development requirements and the internal and external aspirations of this society.

however, the unprecedented growth of knowledge and the rapid development that our contemporary world is witnessing in various sciences comes every day with more complexity, and the super-specialization, represented by the bifurcation of knowledge branches, has resulted in the consecration of an intellectual isolation that has formed a barrier to the aspirations of researchers represented in the exchange of knowledge and facts and merging between them.

from here arose the justifications for the trend towards the idea of cognitive integration, which was reflected in the emergence of new approaches, based on multidisciplinary, aimed at dealing with the components of the educational system in the light of a group of scientific and cognitive disciplines overlapping and intersecting to form a more flexible, open and encyclopedic trend.

through these lines, we will explain this approach and define its ranks through the opinions of some thinkers working in this methodological field.

we will also show how to employ it in the field of social and educational studies and to address its problems more effectively.
