Abstract EN

In this article, we discuss distance education (d-learning) at setif 1 university by evaluating it during the quarantine period resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic.

in doing so, we aim to learn about the basics of distance education and the concepts associated with the COVID 19 pandemic in a simplified manner.

it aims also to present some of the measures adopted by the setif 1 university to reduce the spread of the pandemic among its communities and to ensure the continuity of education ; to identify the dimensions of the assessment of distance education and to survey the views of students about it.

in this study, we rely on the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire as an essential tool for collecting raw data based on the three-way Likert scale in the terms that allow it.

in addition to the averages of descriptive statistics tools, the standard deviation to measure dispersion / homogeneity, we also used the student test of inference statistics tools, using the spss version 24.

it has been found that distance education achieves the objectives set for which it was set at setif 1 university on average ; a series of proposals have been made in the latter to improve The process and address shortcomings
