health security has become one of the most important topics on the international political agenda, given the importance of health and its role in the human security system.

we have discussed the challenges facing health security, and the mechanisms for enhancing it at the international and national levels.

we have concluded that health security has a fundamental impact on societal security, so the countries of the world are working to achieve health security that faces several threats that can create a state of insecurity that negatively affects societal security through its political, economic and social repercussions, which appeared after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is what necessitates work to achieve health governance, and the coordination of global efforts in the field of health security, to confront the threats facing it.
