This research paper highlights the analysis of the reality of equity financing in Algeria, both for main market directed to large companies, using indicators that reflect the maturity and expansion of the market or for the market designated for small and medium enterprises, highlighting the importance of this sector in its ability to create vitality in various areas of the economy, thus creating an added value and contributing to building a diversified economy, as well as high lighting the role of the banking sector in financing the economy and the most important reforms adopted by government authorities in order to revitalize the stock market, and transform in into a safe and attractive financial center, we concluded with the most important recommendations to betaken.
