Abstract EN

This study deals with the issue of child protection, which has been of great interest at the international and national levels of countries, where the research paper aims to highlight the legal aspects related to child protection through the convention on the rights of the child in 1989 as the framework convention, and the resulting containing texts and materials that are not in line with the orientation and view of all countries, which raised many questions about how to deal with these texts and clauses that conflict with the laws of a large number of countries, including Algeria, where Algeria made interpretative declarations on the occasion of some items and articles in line with the specificity of Algerian society and is not contrary to national legal texts, especially constitutional and personal status, on the one hand, on the other hand, there is no doubt about Algeria’s intention and desire to meet its international obligations, particularly in the field of human rights, and the specificity of the conventions related to the field of human rights has increased by being mostly excluded from the reservation procedure, which is complicated and difficult to reconcile the activation of the principle of national sovereignty with the fulfillment of international obligations, not to mention disability-related conditions in general and for children in particular, and because they are the most vulnerable category that’s why it made them an international preoccupation.
