Legislations of most countries of the world has moved to one direction, aiming behind that to give guarantees to the whistleblowers of corruption crimes, in order to provide effective legal protection for this category which cooperates with the justice system.

on this basis, the countries of the great Arab Maghreb hastened to put legal outlines through which they embodied a set of mechanisms.

the aim of these mechanisms is to ensure the greatest degree of protection for the whistleblower of corruption crimes, in order to encourage him to report any corruption incidents that come to his knowledge without fear or hesitation.

the Maghreb legislations has varied in protection measures, because this is related to the protectionist policy pursued by each Maghreb country.
