This study aims to shed light on religious values and their role in motivating students' learning, encouraging them to seek knowledge and science, and leading them to achieve great academic achievement.

religious values are the basis for building social behaviors, and for differentiating between what is acceptable and what is rejected within the same society.

it is a factor of deterrence and social oppression for members of society, and it also has major roles in all aspects of life, even scholastic and educational ones.

in order to determine the benefits of religious values in strengthening students' learning, the researcher used the analytical descriptive approach.

the selected sample was a purposive survey sample.

it included all the students of the fourth year at Belhouadjeb Ahmed Middle school in Djelfa, whose number was 189, divided into 111 females and 78 males.

the researcher relied on the questionnaire as data collection tool.
