Abstract EN

The subject of this study is the motives of the 2020 constitutional amendment in the Algerian state and the extent to which it reflects on the recognition of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as this is reflected by demonstrating the conceptual rooting of the constitutional amendment in Algeria, by defining it and clarifying the reasons for its amendment dictated by objective circumstances of an internal or external nature such as blocking legislative shortcomings or the desire for democratic transition, or the characterization of constitutions or maintain political stability and absorb crises on the one hand, and on the other hand, reflect the developments of the 2020 constitutional amendment in the field of human rights and fundamental freedoms, by defining their definition and content.
