Legislative comparisons or budgets as some prefer to call it, it is one of the important studies that emerged as a research and drafting tool in jurisprudence and law at the beginning of the twentieth century ad and it had beginnings before that in general, these comparisons are based on the idea of researching legislation in order to compare one another with the provisions, principles and theories they contain, regardless of the legislation in question, what is meant in this research are comparisons in which Islamic legislation is a party to the comparison, these comparisons had an impact on Islamic jurisprudence and positive law, in terms of the development of jurisprudential terminology and the proof of the comprehensiveness and breadth of the jurisprudential heritage and the enrichment of man-made laws, in addition, these comparisons mostly sought to show the virtue of Islamic law and the necessity of always returning to it.
