Discourse analysis occupied a large space for critics and researchers in linguistics, and despite the multiplicity of their schools and the disparity of their philosophical and intellectual doctrines to which they belong and start from, but they agree that repetition is a mechanism rhetoric, its primary role is assertion, but it has the property of discourse coherence, which makes it a coherent whole rather than a series of successive parts.

based on the repetition in the Holy Qur’an being the main reference for any discourse, how did the old people adopt it ? and how did the scholars see it ? and how did the poet Muhammad Muhammad al-Shahawi employ repetition in his poetic creations, which gave his speech a literary rhetoric ?
