This research paper aims to shed light on a very important topic, which is the subject of school dictionaries that accompany the learner from the first stage of learning to the university stage, and these dictionaries differed in the way they were made, but their common goal is to enrich the linguistic balance of the learner, and the importance of dictionaries in overcoming difficult vocabulary as well as providing valuable information in various topics such as mentioning the names of plants, animals, means of transportation and other topics.

in order to provide a more accurate and in-depth study, we decided to choose a dictionary from these many dictionaries, which is the dictionary of the elaborate illustrated dictionary Arabic Arabic to introduce it and analyze its content, and then highlight its importance in enriching the linguistic balance of the learner.
