The present research paper aims to study psychological disorder from psychological and religious anthropological perspectives.

the researcher conducted his study relying on a case of 28-year-old female who is from Tlemcen (Algeria) and suffers from witchcraft.

to achieve the study's aim we employed the interview, observation and the fifth diagnostic and statistical manual of mental and mental disorders (DSM5) as research tools.

the results demonstrate that the informant is characterized by a fragile and weak psychological structure with limited emotional maturity (paranoid personality disorder) affected by the beliefs and myths of the society which she belongs to.
