Recent critical studies focused on text thresholds, also known as parallel-text, and regarded them as the key to explore the depths of the text, and to understand its connotations.

thus, by overlooking the text thresholds, significant amount of text-related knowledge maybe lost.

this study attempted to observe the parallel-texts in "al-Diwân al-Isbartî" by the novelist "Abd el Wahab Aissaoui".

the so items surrounding the main text contribute to the deciphering of the text’s codes.

therefore, the reader cannot overlook them, but instead he must interact with them to understand the text and the author's messages.
