This scientific paper aims to address the most important segment of society, namely children, and to determine the reality of social protection services and programmes provided for in international legislation and Algerian legislation, which have been placed in the political agenda to ensure this category, particularly in the context of the proliferation of problems and scourges that threaten its security and stability, such as child labor, homelessness, violence, abduction and abuse of all kinds… as a minor, a child needs care in various aspects in order to complete his mental, health, psychological and social maturity, and international and Algerian legislation strives to ensure his protection and punish anyone who poses a threat to him.
