The right to a healthy environment receives the highest levels of attention and care from the international community, and this is why international law puts it under its auspices and gives it the desired legal protection, whether in human rights or environmental law.

however, the non-application of most of its legal rules has prevented it from imposing effective protection on it.

accordingly, many countries have resorted to including it in their internal legislations, in order to ensure adequate protection of the human right to a healthy environment and to provide it with a protective cover from all external violations and influences.

therefore, through this study, the content of each protection will be examined separately, in order to answer the following question: what is the established legal protection for the human right to a healthy environment at the international and national levels?
