Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the role of regional groups in the local development of the shadow areas.

to achieve this, we studied the case of the municipality of Oulad Brahm, where we showed the contributions of the municipality in those areas, their funding sources and their importance.

through the applied study, it was concluded that the regional groups play an important role in the local development of the shadow areas.

however, it still did not rise to the required level, as we indicated the importance of financing sources in local development, and we presented some suggestions, the most important of which is the development of a long-term development strategy for shadow areas.
