in his recent books, especially the history of sexuality, he amended his project by moving from the study of sexuality to the study of techniques of the self, as this amendment deals with the ethical dimension of sexuality, as well as the studied historical period that extends to Greece, ethics according to Foucault raised a different question and a different horizon from what the philosophical mind colluded with, that is, that mind that tends to research the nature of the standards governing behavior, since ethics through this vision is a set of commands and prohibitions, as well as a system of values that direct the behavior of individuals to what they should to have this behavior.
