The issue of the right to access information is considered as one of the most important rights and freedoms enshrined in the constitution and international agreements, given that information is the primary method for reaching a measure of satisfaction between the authority and the citizen.

therefore, it was necessary to develop a legal framework to guarantee this right, given that its guarantee enhances trust between the administration and the citizen.

the right of access to information is a criterion for evaluating other rights such as freedom of opinion and expression, freedom of the media, freedom of the press.

from this point of view, this study is concerned with studying the sources of the right to access information and its legislative regulation, while addressing the field of its application.
