This article is an attempt to tackle a sociolinguistic subject that concerns the standard type of dialects.

the study focused on the Jijelian dialect, which is usually referred to as the small Kabyle dialect.

the aim is to check if the independent and unique linguistic system of both the language and the dialect could meet and have common features as they come across each other, especially with the presence of appropriate conditions and various factors that could be geographic, political, economic, cultural, historical, social … etc.
