Abstract EN

The study of the characteristics of the liberation revolution 1954-1962, notes that it was not just military events aimed at liberating the country from the clutches of the colonialist as emphasized by the colonial school and its sinners, but rather a comprehensive revolution, which brought about profound changes in the mentality of Algerian society and its leaders since its outbreak, and this is what has emerged in many of its many literature on top of it is the statement of the first of November, which formulated an intellectual revolution that included many ideas and principles, which included determinants of identity and national unity in all its Arab-Islamic dimensions in its North African framework.

therefore, in this scientific paper, we focused on highlighting those major principles stipulated in the statement of the first of November, as well as the concept of identity and national unity and its determinants through this statement.
