Abstract EN

The first beginnings of the projects of unity in the Algerian national movement were with the Islamic conference in 1936, to return again with gathering of the lovers of the statement and freedom in 1944, and after the second world war, the currents of the national movement gathered in a new union called "the Algerian front for the defense of freedom and its respect" on August 05, 1951, the latter is the focus of our study.

the aim of this study is to identify the Algerian front for the defense and respect of freedom, to take note of the circumstances and motives for its establishment, the goals for which it was established, the stages it went through, highlighting its frameworks and activities, the content of its demands and effects, knowing the fate of this front, and highlighting the features of failure and success.
