Abstract EN

Alienation is a general psychological and social phenomenon, but its impact on poets is more severe because the poet is the product of his environment, the first affected by and expressive.

This research which entitled by - Alienation and anxiety in modern Libyan poetry- monitors the suffering of the Libyan poet, suffering from bitterness, which makes him feel tense and anxious, and expresses it through his production that he presents.

The reason for selecting a group of poets is that they are the most expressive of the cases of alienation from the viewpoint of the researcher.

The form of the research required that it should be divided into two sections preceded by an introduction.

The research adopted the integrated approach that deals with history, description, psychological analysis, and sometimes the technical one.

The research ended with an appropriate conclusion that summed the researcher's findings into points.
