The Syrian crisis, sparked by internal events in Syria, is a vital and sensitive issue at the same time in the context of the problems and crises of the Middle East region.

This crisis has exacerbated and became more complex after the intervention of regional and international external powers in the internal affairs of Syria.

The basis of these interventions is related to specific positions taken by one country or another according to the interests and ambitions of these powers or states in the region.

In the forefront of which is the Russian position on the Syrian crisis, given that the Russian Federation is the most prominent international and regional player in Syria since the outbreak of the crisis.

This is based on the economic and security goals and incentives that pushed Russia to launch a direct military campaign in the Syrian territories in order to .support the ruling Syrian regime Thus, it can be said, according to our opinion, that the Syrian crisis is classified as the most complex and interwoven among the region's crises, due to the multiplicity of regional and international parties that are currently involved in direct field conflicts on the Syrian lands at the expense of the Syrian Arab people, and perhaps the most prominent of them are: the Russian Federation and The United States of America, which are racing to divide the influence of the region in general, and Syria in particular
