Malevolent creativity : term and concept

Abstract EN

This study aims to providing information about malevolent creativity, which is a modern concept in the Arab society, there are no previous studies, research, or articles have been conducted on it, while the concept has received more attention in Western studies, the study used the descriptive statistic approach on abstracts of previous studies that have been carried out in this field, and applied to a sample of Western scientific researches studies (60 documents).

After statistically processing data, the following results were reached: There are several terms for Malevolent creativity, The study found three main dimensions of Malevolent creativity (lying, hurting, and fraud), and the studies dealt with many variables, The study samples varied and included (university students, community members, teachers, engineers, doctors, criminals, terrorists), To measure Malevolent creativity were used , creative, cognitive, and personal tasks, most importantly researchers’ recommendations are to conduct many studies in the field of harmful creativity, especially for the Arab environment, dealing in more depth with its concept , measurement, forms and its relationship to many other variables.
