Abstract EN

This topic represents a descriptive and analytic study for the rhetorical criteria of As-Skaki and his followers.

This paper focuses on the criterial and esthetical aspects, due to their important fule in evaluation, and reveals the main domains of these aspects and their relation with the method.

Finally, this study argues for Sikaki’s accont in rhetoric and rejects all criticism directed against it.

The argument is done objectively and it takes the cultural aspect of Sikaki’s era into consideration
