Abstract EN

This research paper aims to measure the impact of the structure of government spending (running expenses / equipment expenses) on economic growth and unemployment in Algeria during the period (1990-2021), by tracking the developments of the structure of spending, economic growth and unemployment during the same period and by relying on the (ARDL) model and using eviews 12 to find out the impact and nature of the relationship between the variables of the study.

the study concluded that there is a strong and positive effect of equipment expenditures on economic growth and unemployment, in contrast to operating expenses, which had a positive but weak impact.
