This research paper discusses the role that the new media has played across its multiple tools as a prominent and distinguished partner in the February 22, 2019 movement, which has spanned weeks and months.

in this paper, the researcher questions how the popular movement in Algeria exploits the potential of the new media, and social media sites in particular to fuel this movement and maintain its momentum and mobilization in the manner in which these new media tools have become a symbol of this political movement.
