This research seeks to shed light on the historical linguistic dictionary of the Arabic language in 1936 AD, which is considered a great effort, as he tried on his own to complete a historical dictionary of the Arabic language, stating that his dictionary will include the Arabic language from ancient times to the end of the third century of Hijrah.

and my work in this research is to describe and analyze that lexical attempt, by giving a historical overview of the lexicon, and the stages of its implementation, starting with the definition of August fisher, and describing the report that fischer submitted to the Arabic language academy in Cairo, which carries with it a project to complete the lexicon and a model of it, and then a statement what was printed from it, his approach in making the historical dictionary, and the sources he relied on in documenting the words.
