Abstract EN
A well-organized value chain is the most effective way to provide value to customers in general, and patients in particular, as value is what customers care about the most.
the value chain model has been used widely in the industrial sector, as opposed to the service sector, where its application has been limited.
due to the general distinct nature of services in general and healthcare services, in particular, the value chain for services is not the same as the traditional one proposed by M.
porter.
despite their differences, the service and industrial value chains are similar in that they both include primary and secondary activities.
