Abstract EN

This paper investigates the unemployment as a phenomenon which increased by the technological development starting with the industrial revolution, more particularly in the western societies, as the concept "technological unemployment" emerged in the economic, political and social literatures.

evidently, as the technology of information, communication and artificial intelligence introduced, and despite the fact that they created new job opportunities and become tools facilitating the wealth generation, in turn, they reinvigorated the technological unemployment phenomenon, especially in the 21 century, under what is known as the fourth industrial revolution.

accordingly, the main goal is to analyze this dialectical process relating to these technologies and their impact on the job market security.
