Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between organizational commitment and burnout among secondary school teachers.

the sample in this study consisted of 80 teachers ; the researcher followed the descriptive approach in order to study the relationship between the variables of the study.

in this research, porter & Al’s organizational commitment scale and Maslach’s burnout inventory (1981).

the most important finding of the current study were the following : • there is no correlation between the organizational commitment and the burnout among the teachers of secondary education.

• there are no statistically significant differences in the level of regulatory compliance due to sex.

• there are no statistically significant differences in the level of burnout due to sex.
