Abstract EN

On February 22, 2019, Algeria witnessed a protest movement as a result of the prevailing political system, the people denounced for holding popular demonstrations throughout the country.

This study came to know how Al-Jazeera TV covered the Algerian popular movement through an analytical study based on the use of the descriptive method, in which the analysis of content was relied upon as a tool for collecting data, which was classified on the 10-episode sample.

The study resulted in a number of results, the most important of which are: Al-Jazeera channel focused on the issues related to the movement, the most prominent of which are the people's authority and the continuity of demands, and the channel took the conciliator neutral on most issues.
