This article aims to reveal the concept of " Evasion ", which is among the central concepts in the philosophy of Levinas, as it reflects the nature and mission of philosophy for him.

In addition to this, " Evasion " as a philosophical movement aims to leave ontology to the philosophy of ethics, and this is what this article focuses on, the search for justifications that Levinas justifies against ontologcal philosophy, and also expresses his desire to escape from the stereotypedness of this thought, which focused on the concept of " Self " and "Existence", forgetting in this the issue of the " Other " and de primacy of the moral relationship.
