The article aims to clarify some of the contexts in which poetic discourse emerged in during the pre-Islamic era, which supplemented the enrichment of its perceptions and influenced its interpretation and reception in its early time.

the article, also, seeks to besiege its interpretation and its reception among students of the first year of bachelor's degree in the classrooms of the departments of Arabic language and literature in the Algerian universities.
