Abstract EN

Attention to Banking Risk management and effective management is increasingly important as financial globalization expands and markets become more open financial governance ", which requires increased attention and focus on the application of financial governance in the Banking sector, Through this study, we aim to provide an analysis indicating the impact of the adoption of financial governance mechanisms on the banking risk management of Algerian banks during the period 2014-2020 in order to increase the efficiency and performance of the Algerian banking sector.

Therefore, the prescriptive approach was used to recognize financial governance and its relationship with banking risk management and to operationalize the so-called development of internal structures and support for transparency and disclosure of financial information and data.

On the one hand, the analytical approach was used to clarify the relationship between expatriates and the extent to which banking governance contributed to supporting the risk management of Algerian banks by analysing the various indicators associated with them.

The study concluded that the adoption of financial governance mechanisms in the context of Algerian banking sector reforms had a positive impact on the efficiency of the risk management of Algerian banks during the study period.
