Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of using alternative assessment strategies for outstanding students in mathematics, and to know the differences in primary education teachers' use of these strategies according to the study variables (gender, academic qualification, and professional experience).

The questionnaire "Alternative Evaluation Strategies" prepared by the two researchers, and it consisted of (32) items distributed on (05) axes, namely: evaluation based on performance, on paper and pen, observation, communication, self-review, and the psychometric properties were calculated (honesty, and stability).

Where the sample consisted of (86) teachers from the municipality of Batna who were chosen in an intentional way, the statistical treatment was carried out with the “Spss” program version 20, and to verify the validity of the study's hypotheses, the “T” test for two independent samples was used, “T.

Test” and “ANOVA” analysis of variance.

The study reached the following results: the level of using alternative assessment strategies for outstanding students in mathematics at a medium degree, and also found that there are no statistically significant differences in the level of using alternative assessment strategies for outstanding students in mathematics due to the variable gender, academic qualification, professional experience, Finally, the study concluded with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
