Abstract EN

The quality of higher education is one of the most important principles that help to develop academic and scientific research, and push society to overcome social, cultural, political and economic crises.

from this point of view, the current research is based on an attempt to highlight the mechanisms that lead to achieve quality in the Algerian university by addressing the international experiences that have adopted the quality in their university institutions.

therefore, the objective is to know the efforts made by the Algerian university to keep pace with the countries, which preceded it in improving their educational systems and programs.

the research concluded that the Algerian university, through the supervising ministry, seeks to achieve quality in higher education, through its adoption of the education system (LMD) with the provision of material and human capacities and the development of appropriate mechanisms for its university grounds despite the difficulties it faces.
