In this article, we assess Algeria's tourism development strategy for the period from 2008 to 2015, using a set of tourism indicators, and compare the achievements of those indicators with those targeted when preparing the National Tourism Development Plan Horizon 2030.

(SDAT 2030), and we use quantitative indicators such as the number of foreign tourists arrivals, the number of hotel accommodation capacities represented in number of beds.

the number of nights spent in tourist accommodation establishments, the number of employment targeted in the plan, as well as the use of monetary indicators such the value of tourism revenues achieved "Net balance of tourism", Tourism GDP and the value of investments created in the sector compared to total national investment.
