One of the major dilemmas of Arab water security is that it is linked to upstream countries that are not considered Arab, which makes them vulnerable to pressures.

The Israeli penetration, the number one enemy of most Arab countries, into the upstream countries, through water projects, has made Israel control the quantities of water that reach the Arab countries, which are threatened by drought, and water security depends on it.

The study attempts to highlight the most important water projects that directly threaten Arab water security.

This situation imposes on the Arab countries the need for cooperation instead of conflict
