Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to examine the reality of tourism development in Algeria by focusing on the factors and difficulties impeding the attraction of tourists, as it contributes to the better use of the touristic region resources, thereby promoting regional development balanced with the regions of other countries.

Tourism has become the focus of development plans strategies in many countries, investment of tourism assets, and the attraction of individuals to domestic tourism or even foreigners to the homeland.

However, these factors have not been invested developmentally due to the difficulties faced, which has made efforts in this area less conducive to sustainable tourism development.

This has affected Algeria to remain in the lower ranks of tourist attraction and tourism development.
