Abstract EN

In this article, we have tried to explain and to makeacritical analysis of the identity theory of the French sociological Renaud Sainsaulieu.

The purpose of this article is to give some ideas and principals of this theory by focusing on the different models of identity atworkdeveloped by this sociologist.

This paper is also an opportunity to evaluate this theory in the field of the sociology of organizations and the criticalideas made against this theory.

And at the end, we tried to identify some of the results that we canconcludeconcerning this identity theory and how we canadoptit in order to analyze organizations in Algeria.
