Abstract EN

This research aims to reveal of the level of family and community readiness in order to contain released prisoners according the opinion of the external department's workers, the sample consisted of three external departments of prison administration consisting in department of Constantine, Djijel, Annaba.

in this study we relied on half guided interviews with the external department's workers.

We used the method of content analysis as a tool of interviews content dump, and the study found that the prisoners come out into community ready to get involved in the life but family and society are not ready to contain him.

In the light of these results a number of recommendations were presented.
