Abstract EN

The annual reports issued by the Algerian National office of Statistics show that there is a significant difference in the wages of workers.

Only, these reports do not allude to the nature or the temporal dimension of the gap.

Also this study attempts to identify and measure the size of the wage gap between the activities of each sector in its various dimensions.

In this way this study follows an analytical and standard approach by using the measurement tools represented to estimate the relationship between each two variables using cross-sectional data.

It reached to determine the size of the gap between the economic activities.

And also it shows the importance of the number of labor force and the added value per worker in the widening of the gap.
