Osteoporosis is one of the bone diseases that express an abnormal decrease in bone density, that is, in the amount of organic and inorganic bone and the change in its quality with age.

This research aims to know the ability of the x-ray machine in diagnosing osteoporosis and comparing it with the laboratory analysis of calcium.

This study was conducted on 15 cases In an area in Traghen General Hospital of which 6 are females 9 are females in the industrial area, 34 years old.

Analysis: Calcium was analysed for all cases, as well as the answer to the modified questionnaire.

The results of the radiographs indicated that 13 cases of patients had osteoporosis, and that all cases suffered from a lack of calcium in the blood, according to the laboratory analysis.

The x-rays also showed that 5 of the cases suffer from clear (severe) fragility, while 6 cases suffer from rheumatic diseases.

The results showed that X-rays have the ability to diagnose osteoporosis in its various stages, while the laboratory examination of calcium is not sufficient to diagnose the disease
