This study aimed to investigate whether alexithymia has a negative impact on mental health in particular among drug addicts.

The study was conducted on two cases of adolescents who suffer from drug addiction in the state of Skikda, and for data collection, a half-guided interview was used with the help of the interview guide and the Toronto alexithymia scale and to answer For the study questions, the interview content analysis and the scale were used, and the results of the study indicated that the members of the sample consisted of adolescents suffering from high alexithymia.
