تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن بعض الجوانب و المظاهرمن الواقع الفكري في مدينة كارتنياي (تنس الحالية.
) وذلك من خلال تتبع و استقراء كتابات ومواقف رجال الدين عاشوا فيها خلال القرنين الرابع و الخامس ميلاديين، و تعد هذه الدراسة محاولة لكشف المظاهر الفكرية عموما قبل الكاتب "فيكتور" من خلال عملية جرد لأبرز الأسماء الفكرية و العلمية مع عرض لأهم تلك الإنتاجات، نذكر منهم: فابيوس، روقاتوس.

كما تطرقت -أيضا- إلى أهم رجال الدين الذين راسلهم و جادلهم "أوغسطين" كصديق الدراسة فينسنتيوس، و الطبيب مكسيموس، روستوكوس، فينستيوس فيكتور، على أن الشق الأهم في هذه الدراسة هو التركيز على الإنتاج الفكري لـ"فيكتور" و إبراز مواقفه ضد السلطة الوندالية سياسيا ودينيا
Abstract EN
This study deals with an attempt to clarify the intellectual reality in the city of Cartennae (present-day Tennis), through the writings and positions of the clergymen who lived during the fourth and fifth centuries AD.
Rogatus, and also touched on the most important clergymen whom Augustine corresponded and argued with, such as the study friend Vincentius, the doctor Maximus, Rostokos, and Vincentius Victor, but the most important part of this study dealt with the intellectual production of Victor and his positions against the Vandal power politically and religiously
