Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the Five Big Personality Traits prevalence among the counselors in Hebron governorate and to identify their level of Achievement Motivation, as well as to investigate the relationship between the Big Five Personality Traits and their Achievement Motivation.

The study sample was a stratified random sample consisted of (142) counselors from the Hebron governorate governmental schools.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the Big Five Personality Traits Scale and the Achievement Motivation Scale were used.

The results of the study showed that the most common personality traits are Extraversion and the least common is Neuroticism.

As for the level of Achievement Motivation, the results showed that the psychological counselors in the Hebron governorate have moderate degrees.

The results showed that there were positive relationships between Achievement Motivation and both of Neuroticism, Extroversion, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness, whereas, there were no relationship between Openness to Experience and Achievement Motivation.
