Effective management of human resources in light of the constant change in our world today is an urgent necessity accompanied by different philosophies and management methods.

This study examines the many researches conducted on psychological capital defined as a positive state of personal development with traits of self-reliance while facing challenges (self-efficacy), positive expectations for future success (optimism), persistence (hope) and achievement despite obstacles (flexibility).

Psychological capital has positive effects on sustainable competitiveness as it is expected that these effects will reduce costs and negative impacts in any organization.

Based on previous studies and theories related to this topic, this study aims to review all concepts of psychological capital and other topics related to it.

The most important source of referencing is management studies followed by studies related to psychological capital and management.
