Abstract EN

The importance of this study comes in an attempt to build a standard model to study the extent of the contribution of the agricultural sector to economic diversification outside the hydrocarbon sector in Algeria during the period (2000-2020), because it is an important strategic sector that can diversify the national income portfolio away from the oil sector and increase growth rates in order to achieve a balance between different economic sectors, using the autoregressive delayed distributed time model lapse (ARDL), where it was concluded that there is a positive impact of the agricultural sector on the diversification of the agricultural sector in Algeria in the long term rather than the short term, which confirms the importance of the agricultural sector in the achievement of economic diversification, and that the contribution of the agricultural sector to the Algerian economy is still significant, and does not reach the desired level if we take t account of the available possibilities which abound in the Algerian economy.
