Our paper aims to highlight the repercussions of the "COVID-19" health pandemic on film art and the film industry by reviewing the reality of film production, beginning with the interruption of cinematic artworks through the closure of cinemas and ending with the decline of the economics of the film sector and the resort to digital viewing platforms.

the seventh art in its nearly century-long history has known a large number of dramatic and documentary films that have simulated mankind's experiences with wars and deadly epidemics such as the plague, cholera, Spanish fever and currently the Coronavirus "COVIDE-19”.
